Joey Avocado – A Cold Hardy Variety!

Known for its small, egg-shaped fruit, the Joey Avocado is one of the more cold hardy avocado varieties (Zones 8b-11).  The fruit is purple-black with a thick skin, and flavored nutty flesh.  This mexican variety is a very heavy bearer of fruit, you will be happy during the harvest season.   Ripens from August to October.
