לאבוקדו בניק קליפה מחוספסת ועבה בינונית-עבה. ייתכן שאנשים לא יזהו אותו כאבוקדו, מכיוון שהקליפה הופכת לצבע סגול-אדמדם ככל שהפרי מתבגר. הפרי, שהוא גדול מהממוצע לאבוקדו, הוא בצורת אגס עם גלעין בינוני ובשר צהוב בפנים, עם טעם מלא ועשיר. זהו אבוקדו גואטמלי. .

The Benik Avocado has roughish, medium-thick skin. People might not recognize it as an avocado, though, as the skin turns a maroonish purple colour as the fruit matures. The fruit, which is larger than average for avocados, is pear-shaped with a medium-sized stone and yellow flesh inside, with a full, rich flavour. It is a Guatemalan type avocado.
